Digitization Station

Campbell County Libraries offers a digitization station for patrons.

This station allows you to convert VHS, audio cassettes, film and photo negatives to a digital format.

It can be reserved for 4-hour blocks and staff are available to assist with the process.

We are happy to answer your questions and help you schedule an appointment to test things out, and talk about unique ways to use the Digitization Station. Just give us a call at 307.687.0115 or stop by the Technology Center to talk to one of our staff members.

We can provide basic help to get you started and our Linkedin Learning database has many easy-to-use tutorials to teach you more about video and sound editing, creating quality content, and more.

Once they are in digital format you can edit your photo, video and audio files using:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud - Multiple apps including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Audacity - An easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder.
  • Camtasia - Make professional-quality videos quickly and easily. Record your screen or upload an existing video, then bring the “Wow!” with effects, music, and more.
  • CyberLink PowerDirector - A complete video, photo, and audio editor.
  • EPSON Scan - Convert film and photo negatives to digital.
