JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Library has announced that it will host a free ChatGPT training on Thursday, Aug. 31.

On April 20, the CyberWyoming Alliance and the Wyoming State Library hosted the Cyber-In-A-Box School Video Challenge virtual premiere, showcasing creative videos written, produced, and filmed by participating school and club teams across Wyoming. 

The Pinedale Library has a Roku® Stick Kit for use at home. 

Rural and remote communities and schools in Wyoming soon will have access to robots, 3D printers, drones, laser cutters and all kinds of other STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) educational electronic tools and equipment.

The Wyoming Virtual Library, a service provided by public libraries across the state as well as by the Wyoming State Library, recently marked its one millionth checkout of e-books, e-audiobooks and digital magazines, comic books and graphic novels. 

SHERIDAN — Self-monitored blood pressure kits debuted on the shelves of Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library for checkout in April, said Interim Library Director Michelle Havenga.

A Laramie County Library System’s outreach librarian was recently recognized with a Wyoming literacy development award.

University of Wyoming Natural Science Collections Partnership is asking Wyoming county libraries for their support for an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant proposal: “Opening Virtual Museum Portals through Libraries: Increasing Access and Awareness of University of Wyoming Natural Science Collections in Wyoming Communities.”

From now until September 11th 2023 the Wyoming State Library is presenting Silent Heroes, an exhibit made to honor the firefighters who served on 9/11 and those who serve today, as well as those who have and are serving in the armed forces.
